Description: Oh, the beauty and joy of a simple pine tree covered in snow! Two designs are included in this chart. Joy To The World is stitched on 32 count Smokey Pearl Belfast linen by Zweigart from Norden Crafts with one strand of floss over one linen thread. This model is in a double frame (3300MG/3200EG 4x5) from East Side Mouldings. Tin Pin Tree is stitched on 32 count Mulberry Belfast linen by Zweigart from Norden Crafts with one strand of floss over one linen thread. We put ours in a wearable tin pin (TF05) from Twisted Threads. Both designs are stitched using hand-dyed fibers from Weeks Dye Works and The Gentle Art.

Description: Our scissor weight was designed for a class for the Orange Coast Sampler Guild. Both versions are stitched on 32-count Willow Green Belfast linen by Zweigart from Norden Crafts. The scissor weight is stitched with one strand of Anchor over one linen thread. Specialty stitches include eyelet, satin stitch, banded cross, fan stitch, rice stitch, scotch stitch, rhodes, smyrna and double leviathan. Our framed version is stitched over two linen threads with two strands of Anchor floss and omits the specialty stitches. We put ours in a frame (PR637 5-3/8 x 3-1/8) from Olde Colonial Designs.
